Magazine Love

7/27/2011

I used to get a ton of magazines. Ok, maybe only 8 or so. That's close to a ton right?
I have seriously limited my subscriptions and now only get a few.

One of the magazines I get is Better Homes and Gardens. Do you get this too?

I don't know about you, but when I open my mailbox and there is a magazine in there, it brightens my whole day. Especially if it's a Monday. I greatly dislike Mondays.

A few of the things that I love about this issue is the color. I would never think to combine the above pieces, yet I love how it all flows together. Reminds me of my own owl chair in a way.
As you can see, Charlie thinks the owl chair is a great place for napping.
And if I had some sort of device that used an "App", I would be in to this.
Wouldn't this be great if you got your veggies from a CSA and weren't sure what to do with them? Maybe someday I will become "I" friendly. Or not. All of these pictures (minus the owl chair) are from the Better Homes and Gardens Website. I'm sure they dno't mind the free advertising.

What are your favorite magazines?

Have a great day everyone!

Love and Blessings,
The Faithful City Mouse

  1. I am OBSESSED with magazines. At home, I get O, Redbook, Better Homes & Gardens, and Midwest Living, and I used to get Family Circle and Glamour. At work I get Fortune, BusinessWeek and the Harvard Business Review. I would happily subscribe to more if I could. :)

I have to say that Pinterest has changed my life, though. I used to cut out so many things from magazines and had stacks of paper I never filed into idea binders...and now it's all neat and organized on my computer instead!

  2. Pinterest is the greatest thing! I absolutely love it and can really spend some serious time pinning.
I think I'm going to add Southern Living to my subscriptions, they do have great recipes and after all, I live in the south :)
