I've been browsing over at the Contented Sparrow.
I'm slowly getting to know Megan thru emails and just love her style. In her home, her fashion and most importantly her love of God. You will be inspired by her, trust me.
Today Megan is opening her shop and let me tell you, there are some MAJORLY cute things over there.
You must go check it out here.
I've finally taken a trip over to Apartment Therapy. Their website is full to the brim of fluffing your nest ideas. I especially like the "Budget Living" tab. They have a lot of cheap/frugal/repurposed stuff you already have ideas for your home. And who doesn't love that right?
Since I told you about the hubby revamping an area in our backyard, I have been on the prowl for ideas. I want it to be a beautifully peaceful area to lounge, read a book, eat a meal, sit by the fire, drink coffee in the mornings, have friends over for S'mores kind of place. Any ideas?
In the mean time I've finding inspiration on Pinterest. Surprise, surprise.
I've also been listening to The Avett Brothers station on Pandora. I was kind of late on The Avett Brothers bandwagon, but now I'm hooked. Kind of like Mumford and Sons meets back country. It has a really laid back, bonfire type feel.
Notice how I add in the "bonfire" whenever possible? :)
The hubby and I shared a delicious fajita meal last night. So yummy!
I once had a roomate in college who said she always felt like it was a party if chips and salsa was involved. So true. I have since carried that motto with me too.
Have I told you that Hannah from A Hole Is to Dig or Happy Days has hooked me up with a Pen Pal Gal?
I got connected with Kara. She is awesome! I got her letter in the mail yesterday and on it she drew a cute little stick figure. Totally my style :)
If only I was as skinny as that stick girl.....hmmm.......
I can't wait to write her back. But I don't want to rush into it. I like responding to her mail with a cup of coffee and some real time.
We're early into our pen pal relationship, but I can tell it's going to be a good one.
Kind of like you can usually tell how good a movie is going to be by the beginning music? Yeah, it's like that.
I heart you already Kara! :)
Happy Tuesday all!
Take care!
